The Science Branch Library officially opened in 1973, houses the Library's collections in Science and Technology and Basic Medical Sciences. The Library is a depository for documents from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Inter American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture (IICA). The Science Library is the focal point of CARDIN (Caribbean Disaster Information Network) established in 1999.
