Item Banking

This application is currently under development with the Faculty of Medical Sciences as our premier client, and it is hoped that it will become the tool of choice on campus for features associated with collection, assessment and selection of questions for examination.

Aims of the system

• Produce a reasonably easy way of collecting and categorizing examination questions.
• Provide secure access to the questions at various levels from data entry through to ‘locking' questions to editing.
• Provide additional security so that users may review and/or select questions based on pre-defined criteria.
• Include a search feature to allow for easy identification of suitable questions.
